January takedown, labeled storage

The Best Part: You Never Touch a Ladder

Every Now Thats Christmas package ends the way it starts — with us doing the work. In January our crew takes down every light, wreath, and strand, labels it by run, and stores it for the off-season. No attic boxes, no tangled totes, no February lights still hanging.

How it works

Our Takedown & Storage process

Our takedown & storage process is built around one thing: a flawless result with zero hassle for you. From the first walkthrough to the final inspection, every step is handled by our own trained team — never subcontracted — so the quality stays consistent on every job.

We start by assessing your home and protecting the areas around the work. Then we do the job methodically and carefully, using the right method and equipment for takedown & storage, before finishing with a thorough check to make sure every detail meets our standard. The four steps below show exactly what to expect.

The takedown & storage timeline

Four clear steps from start to finish — no surprises, just a perfect display results.

  1. 1

    Scheduled in January

We schedule your takedown for January — no need to be home. The crew removes everything as carefully as it went up.

  2. 2

    Inspect and Label

Each run is inspected, noted for any bulbs to refresh, and labeled to its exact place on your home.

  3. 3

    Store It Properly

Your lights and greenery are stored in our facility, protected from the heat, moisture, and crushing that kill lights in garages.

  4. 4

    Priority Rebooking

Storage clients get first pick of install dates for next season — your display goes up earlier and easier every year.

Good to know

Takedown & Storage questions, answered

Is takedown really included in the price?
Yes. Every package includes January takedown and off-season storage in the all-inclusive price — starting around $700 for the whole season. No separate takedown invoice, ever.
When exactly do the lights come down?
January. We route takedowns through the month so displays enjoy the full season but nothing is still hanging in February — which is both a curb-appeal problem and hard on the lights.
Do I need to be home for takedown?
No. Everything we installed is outside, so the crew can take it down, pack it, and leave your roofline exactly as we found it while you are at work.
Why does storage matter?
Heat, moisture, and crushed coils in a garage tote are what kill light strands. Proper storage is why custom-cut displays look new for years — and since your lights are cut to your house, protecting them protects your investment.
What happens to my lights next season?
They come out of storage labeled to your home, any tired bulbs get refreshed, and your install goes faster because every run already fits perfectly. Storage clients also get priority pick of install dates.
Can you take down lights another company installed?
Usually, yes — reach out and we will take a look. It is also a good moment to get a quote for next season and see what a custom-cut, all-inclusive display would cost.
How much does this service cost?
Packages start around $700 all inclusive, and the exact number depends on your home. A free 10-minute Zoom walk-through gets you a firm, no-obligation price.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. We are fully insured and back our work with a satisfaction guarantee — if something is not right, we make it right.
